Pasco County Inmate Search Basics

The Pasco County jail roster is run by Pasco Corrections, the county division that holds people in local custody. The public inmate web app pulls live data from the jail booking system, so the list shows who is held at the time of the search. Records cover booking number, booking date and time, charges, bond, and a court case number. A name lookup is the simplest path to find a current inmate.

The county uses a public inmate web application built on a Nuxt and Vuetify frontend titled "Pasco Corrections." It has separate views for current custody and for releases. You can see the live tool at the Pasco Corrections public inmate search, which is the official jail roster.

The app loads an in-custody list and lets you open a profile for booking and charge data. It does not cover state prison or federal cases. People sentenced to a Florida prison move to state custody, and those in federal cases are held under federal authority, so neither group shows on the county roster.

Where the Pasco County Jail Roster Lives

Pasco Corrections groups its public tools on one landing page. From there you can reach In Custody, Past Arrests, E-Notify, Inmate Services, the Inmate Labor Program, the Prison Rape Elimination Act page, and the Seal and Expunge Process. Each tool answers a different need, and the inmate roster is the one most people want first.

The county also keeps a deeper Inmate Services page with mail, phone, money, and visit rules. To start at the source, open the Pasco Corrections landing page and pick the In Custody link.

The landing page acts as a hub. It keeps the search tools and the service rules in one spot, which saves time when a family needs both a custody check and a mail address. For people who were let go, the same hub feeds the released inmates tools.

How to Use the Pasco County Inmate Roster

A roster search takes only a moment. Start with a last name, then narrow the result if the name is common. The steps below walk through a basic in-custody lookup.

  1. Open the Pasco Corrections public inmate web app and choose the In Custody view.
  2. Type the inmate last name. Add a first name to cut down a long list.
  3. Review the result rows for name, age, race, sex, and booking date.
  4. Click the matching record to open the full profile.
  5. Read the charge table for charge code, bond amount, court case number, and disposition.

If a name returns nothing, the person may not be in current Pasco County custody. Try the Past Arrests view, or check state and federal tools. Spelling counts, so test a shorter last name when unsure.

Pasco County Inmate Search Fields

The in-custody search accepts a small set of inputs. A last name drives most lookups, and a first name helps when many people share a surname. The table maps the fields the Pasco Corrections search uses, drawn from the public custody search endpoint.

Field LabelTypeRequiredOptions / Format Notes
Last NameTextYesMain name filter for the custody search.
First NameTextNoNarrows a long result set; matches the firstName field.
Name IDNumericNoInternal ID used by the app to pull a profile.
Search AllToggleNoUsed by the app to fetch a mugshot or wider profile.

Note: the search system is built for name lookups, so a clean last name returns the best match while extra detail trims the list.

What a Pasco County Inmate Profile Shows

Each profile holds a lot of detail. A public custody record carries booking facts, the person's basic descriptors, and a full charge table with bond and a court case number. The list below maps the main fields a profile returns and what each one means.

FieldWhat It Shows
NameFirst, middle, last, and suffix, shown as First Middle Last.
Date of BirthBirth date in MM/DD/YYYY form; DOB is public in the data.
AgeThe inmate age as a number.
RaceA race code in the data, such as W or B.
SexA sex code of M or F.
Booking NumberThe numeric ID for the current booking.
Booking DateThe date of the booking in MM/DD/YYYY form.
Booking TimeThe time of booking down to the second.
FacilityWhere the person is held, such as Central Booking.
ChargesA charge table with sequence, charge code, and description.
Bond AmountThe bond set per charge.
Court Case / Docket NumberThe case number tied to each charge.
DispositionThe charge status or holding result.
Physical DescriptorsHair color, eye color, height, weight, and birthplace.

The charge table is the core of the record. It shows offense type as felony or misdemeanor, charge type as state, the bond, and a docket number in a format like 2025CF000000AES, which encodes the court type. End of sentence may read as a date or as "Currently Unavailable."

Mugshots and Redactions in Pasco County Records

A booking photo shows on a profile when a mugshot exists. The data flags whether an image is present, and the app pulls the photo by the internal name ID. Not every record has a current photo.

The public record holds back sensitive data. The inspected current custody result showed no Social Security number and no full home address. Date of birth, by contrast, is public in the data. The first public profile also leaves out pod or tank, floor, medical flags, suicide watch, protective custody, and attorney visit flags.

The Inmate Services area explains how custody and care are handled day to day. For the full list of services, see the Pasco County Inmate Services page, which links the vendor accounts.

Inmate Services is also where mail, phone, money, and tablet rules sit. It is worth a read before a first visit or a first deposit, since the rules drive how you reach a person in custody.

In-Custody vs Past Arrests in Pasco County

The system splits current and past data. The In Custody view lists people held now. The Past Arrests view, paired with the releases route, pulls historic booking and release records. Both run off the same county data, but they answer different questions.

Use In Custody to confirm a live hold and a current bond. Use Past Arrests to trace a prior booking, a release date, or an old charge result. Charge records carry a release date and a disposition, so a past entry can show how a case closed. For a focused look at recent releases, the released inmates page covers the release tools and notification options.

Custody also ties to court action. A charge's docket number links a jail record to a case file, which connects to the criminal records system. If a person is sought but not booked, an open warrant may be in play, and the warrant records page covers that path.

Inmate Safety and the PREA Program

Pasco Corrections keeps a page for the Prison Rape Elimination Act. The federal law sets standards meant to detect, prevent, and respond to sexual abuse in custody. The county page is the official spot for reporting paths and program detail.

Family members and inmates can use the program to raise a safety concern. To read the county standards and contacts, open the Pasco County PREA page, which is part of the Corrections hub.

Safety reporting sits outside the roster, but it matters to anyone with a loved one in jail. The PREA page rounds out the custody picture beyond charges and bond.

Booking Data in Pasco County Records

Booking starts the custody record. The public data shows a booking number, the booking date and time, the arrest type, an arrest report number, the arrest date, the arresting agency, an OBTS tracking field, and the facility. One arrest can carry several charges, and each charge holds its own bond and court case number.

Arrest detail records also store a release date and time. Where a person is still held, those fields read null. The arrest agency often shows as the Pasco Sheriff's Office, though agency codes such as PSO or OTHR can appear in the data.

Bond is set per charge, not per person. So a record with three charges may list three bond amounts that add up to the full bond. A disposition field tracks how each charge stands, and a charge can show a holding note such as a jail location.

How to Contact a Pasco County Inmate

There are three main ways to reach a person in the Pasco County jail: mail, phone, and tablet messaging. Each runs through a set vendor or address, so the rules matter. Get the mail address wrong and the letter may be returned.

Personal mail is not accepted at the jail. It must go to the ICS Digital Mail Center. Address it with the sender name and address, then Pasco Inmate Mail Processing, the inmate name and ID, P.O. Box 17339, San Antonio, TX 78227. Mail is scanned and shown on tablets or kiosks. Paper runs from a 4 by 6 minimum to an 8.5 by 14 maximum, and non-paper items are returned. To get a letter back after scanning, include a self-addressed stamped envelope. Privileged mail and government checks go straight to the jail at 20101 Central Blvd, Land O' Lakes.

Phone service comes from Inmate Calling Solutions. Set up a prepaid collect or debit account through the provider or by calling 1-888-506-8407. The rate is $0.08 per minute plus tax and is subject to change. Voicemail runs $1.00 per minute and is recorded. Inmates must move money from the commissary account to the phone account before they can call.

Tablets come from ICSolutions, with accounts set up through JailATM. eMessaging works like email, and senders pay per message or photo. Free media covers education, mental health, addiction recovery, and religion, while music, movies, and games cost extra.

To register for visits and phone or video accounts, start at the ICSolutions registration site, the county vendor for these services.

ICSolutions ties together visits, calls, and tablet time. One account often covers more than one service, so it pays to set it up early.

Commissary and Care Packs in Pasco County

Inmates can get a care pack through MyCarePack. A $75 pack can be ordered, with a $7.95 shipping and handling charge and a $7.95 processing fee. The limit is one package per inmate per week. Commissary questions go to Trinity Commissary at the jail at (813) 235-6053, while care pack questions go to MyCarePack at 866-643-9557, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

To place an order, use the MyCarePack ordering site, the county care-pack vendor. Pick the right inmate and follow the prompts to pay.

Care packs are separate from the phone and tablet accounts. Money for calls and tablet time moves through the commissary account, so plan deposits with both needs in mind. Note: the public profile does not list an account balance, so confirm funds through the vendor, not the roster.

State and Federal Inmate Searches

The county roster only covers local jail custody. A person sent to a Florida prison shows in the state system, not the county jail. Someone in a federal case is held under federal authority. For those searches, the county roster will not help, and you need the right state or federal tool instead.

Florida prison inmates appear in the state Department of Corrections offender search. Federal inmates appear in the Bureau of Prisons locator. To track a release or set alerts, VINELink is the safest public option since rosters can update apart from alert systems. The released inmates page links each of those tools and walks through how to use them.

For broad numbers rather than one name, the inmate population page covers roster counts, capacity, and how to read jail data. Together the inmate pages move from one custody check to the full custody picture.
